Show and Tell Adventures: The Pet Edition! 

Our Show and Tell adventures have officially gone to the dogs… and the cats! 

We have had some very special visitors to the Pine Palace lately, and our second graders couldn't have been more excited! From wagging tails to curious whiskers, these furry friends definitely knew how to make an entrance.

Our classroom has learned that Show and Tell isn't just about what you can bring—sometimes it's about who comes along for the adventure!

A big thank-you to our families for sharing these adorable members of the family with us. They brought plenty of smiles, lots of excitement, and maybe just a little bit of chaos! 

Stay tuned… you never know who might walk, wiggle, or pounce through the doors of the Pine Palace next!

Once Upon a Time in the Pine Palace… Show & Tell turned into quite an adventure! 

We’ve already had two very special guests make their way into our classroom. One second grader surprised us by bringing a LIVE CHICKEN! And another shared all about her very own market, where she sells fresh fruits and vegetables and she brought a basket full of fresh apples! 

From chickens to fresh produce, you just never know what will walk—or roll—through the doors of the Pine Palace! Our Show & Tell adventures are off to a wonderfully WILD start! 

What will our little storytellers bring next? Stay tuned… there’s always another story waiting to be told!

Once Upon a Time… there were TWO birthday celebrations in the Pine Palace!

This week, we celebrated two very special second graders! Our birthday stars were showered with smiles, songs, and lots of birthday cheer.   We love celebrating each child and making their special day a little extra magical!

Happy Birthday to our Pine Palace birthday stars! May your new year be filled with laughter, learning, friendship, and plenty of happy adventures!

Second Grade Began!

Once upon a time, in a little place called the Pine Palace, a brand-new adventure began…

The backpacks were packed, the pencils were sharpened, the smiles were ready, and our second graders walked through the doors ready to begin a brand-new chapter! 

Our first day was filled with new friends, familiar faces, big smiles, lots of excitement, and maybe just a few butterflies! Each child arrived with their own unique personality, ready to discover what this year has in store.

Today we officially opened the first page of our second grade story, and I have a feeling it is going to be a wonderful one. There will be learning, growing, laughing, creating, and plenty of adventures along the way!

So, turn the page and take a peek at our first day in the Pine Palace. These sweet faces are the stars of our story, and I am so excited to see where their second grade adventure takes them!

Meet the Teacher

Welcome to Second Grade!

What a wonderful beginning to our second grade year! It was such a joy to meet so many of you and your families at Meet the Teacher. I loved seeing the excitement on the children's faces as they explored our classroom, found their seats, and began this new adventure together.

I wanted to begin our year by sharing some of the sweet moments from our special evening. These pictures capture the people who mean so much to each of our students—moms, dads, brothers, sisters, and families who came to celebrate the beginning of a new school year.

Thank you for taking the time to come, introduce yourselves, and allow me the opportunity to get to know your children. I am so excited about the year ahead and all of the learning, growing, laughing, and wonderful memories we will make together.
