Hilarious Horse Stories for Hh

Learning about the letter Hh was hilarious with our 2 fiction books:  Clip Clop by Nicola Smee and Blue Horse by Helen Stephens.  They children loved both of these books.  They made lots of clip-clop sounds while we read the Clip-Clop book and that was a lot of fun for all of us. They could really relate to Blue Horse because it was about a little girl that had a stuffed blue horse animal and she did everything with this horse.  She had lots of adventures with her blue horse.  The children told about their favorite stuffed animal.  We learned lots of new things about horses.  One thing we talked about was how horses were used long ago.  The children were fascinated to hear that there was a time when people did not have cars, airplanes, trains, and other transportation to get around.  They are excited about our trip to Gramling Farm (in October) where we will ride in a horse drawn wagon.
