Giant Giraffes for Gg

We had great fun learning about giraffes.  We all learned lots of new things about giraffes that we didn't know!  I love when I learn new things with the kiddos.  We read Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae and The Giraffe Who Cock-a-Doodle-Doo'd by Keith Faulkner.  We read a nonfiction book about Giraffes.  We looked at the yard stick to show the children the size of giraffe's hooves and the size of their large hearts.  The children created their own giraffes in their journals.
