Nuts about Nest

The letter Nn had us reading about birds' nests.  We learned that different birds build their nest different ways and different sizes.  We watched a youtube video that showed baby birds in their nest and their mother feeding them.  It was a fascinating video.  It showed how the birds grew in 9 days and then began to fly a little.  We read The Best Nest by P.D. Eastman and our nonfiction book was called Bird Nests by Helen Frost.
