PSS FUN RUN!

We had a great time at the Pine Street School Fun Run on Saturday!  It was hard to get any pictures because everyone was scattered all over the place!  The Doodlebugs were there in full force.  I think we had the most participation in the entire school!  I will confirm that once I hear it from the main office!  (a little bird told me we did, but I want the official word before I tell it)!  A great big thank you to Ashley Millinor for encouraging everyone to participate in the Fun Run!  It was very sweet for her to do all that she did!

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!

St. Patrick's Day Fun

St. Patrick's Day was filled with lots of festivities!  We sorted Lucky Charms and Skittles.  We graphed and analyzed our data! The children had a lot of fun doing all the math activities!!

We also had a visit from the leprechaun!  The leprechaun made a terrible mess of our room and left foot prints all over the classroom.  The leprechaun used our toilet and turned the water green.  He also changed Cola's water green!  The best part of his visit was a little gift, it was a hat filled with candy for each of the Doodlebugs!!!  We had a great day in Kindergarten celebrating St. Patty's Day!!

A Tiger Came to Town

We had a surprise visit from the Clemson Tiger!  A little boy in another Kindergarten Class was the "Student of the Week" and they brought the Tiger to town!!!

Pi Day 3.14 = Pie Day in Kindergarten

Miss Christie Smith's math class came to visit today and they brought lots of pies.  They were celebrating pi (3.14) day in math and they shared their pies with us.  We had a great time eating pies (this was before lunch and we had already eaten a doughnut!!  Exemption Day Supersized!!!).

Miss Smith is explaining what pi day is all about.  The children told us what type of pies they had and the doodlebugs could chose the flavor they wanted to eat!

A Surprise Visit From Landon Cohen: Seattle Seahawks

We had a surprise visit from a Super Bowl football player today, Landon Cohen from the Seattle Seahawks.  The children were thrilled to meet this gentle and kind man.  He brought his football helmet for all the children to hold and try on.  He chatted with the children and encouraged them to work hard in school and to always do their very best!!!
