Circus Act with Mr. Jef

We were lucky enough to have another week with Mr. Jef and learn about circus tricks.  Mr. Jef integrated the arts with our science and PE standards.  The children Had a blast all week and the parents got to experience the fun at Evening With the Arts!  The children were the teachers and taught their parents everything they had learned during the week!  I think they were fabulous teachers!

Valentine's Day Party!

We had a fabulous time celebrating Valentine's Day with the ones we love!  We had delicious food and fun games!  We listened to the soundtrack from "The Greatest Showman" and played musical chairs!  The children got these groovy glasses!!  Thanks to everyone that volunteered that day and to the parents that sent in food!  You guys are the best!!!

Integrating the Arts with Mr. Jef

We were very fortunate to have an entire week with Mr. Jef Lamdin.  He integrated the arts by teaching the children about mime.  They spent the week learning about techniques and then he used the techniques to teach subtraction with regrouping!  The children had a great time and loved their  lessons with Mr. Jef!
