We celebrated our last September birthday with our little birthday princess!  She decided to wear all of the birthday accessories and I love that!!  A birthday princess must be accessorized with a crown, a sash, a pin, and a necklace!!!

Our Star Student of the Week

We started our star student of the week last week.  We have one student that is highlighted for a week and during that week we learn all about that student.  The star student can have visitors for lunch throughout the week and they can have someone come to the room to share a book, bring a pet, play an instrument or tell about their job.  We had a visit from our Star Student's Mom and their dog, Izzy!  She had her mom, dad, aunt, and grandparents come for lunch.  We enjoyed learning all about our star student!!

Super Hero Day

Our school celebrated the great accomplishments from the Boosterthon Fun Run by having a "Super Hero" Day.  We exceeded our school's goal and we wanted all the children to dress up like a super hero because they are all so super!!!  We had a lot of fun Friday!  We also earned another extra recess day because our class went over the $60 per lap goal!  Way to Go!!!

Boosterthon Fun Run 2014

Today was a great day at Pine Street School!  We had a great time participating in our fun run.  Thank you to everyone that made pledges!  The school exceeded its goal and we could not be happier!  The Pine Street PTO does so much to help the teachers and to make the elementary school experience the best it can be for the children!  When I came to Pine Street, I was overwhelmed with the PTO and all they do to make Pine Street such a special place!  Here are a few pictures from today!  FYI:  the teachers were asked to dress up like rock stars!!
