Enemy Pie

Enemy Pie by Derek Munson, is a great book to read at the beginning of the year.  We discovered that the best way to get rid of an enemy is to bake a delicious pie and spend some quality time with them!  We made our own "enemy pies" today and they were delicious!!

Skit-tell Us All About You

We had fun learning about each other as we enjoyed a game of Skit-tell Us!  The children got in groups of 6 and they each got a bag of Skittles.  They took turns picking out a Skittle and they told something about themselves based on the color of the Skittle.  Each group had a game card that told them what to talk about.   They loved sharing stories about themselves with their friends!

Meet the Teacher Day at PSS!

We had a great turn out for our "Meet the Teacher" day!  It is Pine Street School's 90th Year of Excellence!  I can't wait to start learning with these precious second graders!  It is going to be a great year!
