Birthdays!

Making Arrays with Cheez Its

We had a great time on Friday making arrays with Cheez Its.  Creating and understanding the concept of an array is hard to grasp so I thought it would be fun to add food and maybe they would get it!!  Check out our arrays!  I should have added some cute faces, but I was so excited about their great work that I didn't take pictures of them!  Sorry!

A Diary of a Spider

 

 A Diary of a Spider was a wonderful book!  I loved it and I think the children enjoyed it too!  We decided to make a fun little snack today to celebrate our story!  We made spiders out of Oreos and pretzels.  Take a peek at the fun photos of the children working on their spiders.  

 

First Day of Second Grade

Our first day of Second Day was great at Pine Street School!   I have the best students in the world.  I know that God has chosen these students to be a part of my room for a reason!  I am looking forward to getting to know each of them!   Here are some pics of each child on their first day of Second Grade!!!
