Happy 100th Day of School

HIP HIP HOORAY!  THE 100TH DAY!

The 100th Day of School was filled with so much fun and excitement!  We exceeded our goal of collecting 100 cans by collecting over 255 cans!  Thanks for all of your donations!!!  We  started the day by reading some books about the 100th day of school.  We then boxed up all of our cans so they would be ready for pick up!  We had a fabulous lunch with Papa John's Pizza, cheese puffs, fruit (apples, strawberries and oranges), and then we had 100 cupcakes for dessert (they were mini).   After lunch we had a short recess and then came in for all the 100th day fun!  We had 9 stations and they rotated to each station.  They worked with a partner and did activities like:  stacking 100 solos to make a creation, used 100 letter tiles and they had to make as many words as possible, tossed a bean bag 100 times, colored a 100th day poster, made a snack with 100 pieces of food, and many others.  Here are some pictures of our fun!  Check out all the pictures and see all the creative things the children created!  I tried to take pictures each time we rotated stations!!!

Here we are making the 100th Day of School snack!  Thank for all the snacks sent in for this project!
